Resolutions 2018

Hey guys,

I've never been a fan of the new year resolutions, because frankly they've always seemed pointless and doomed to failure to me. If something is troubling you, you can change it or at least take the steps to changing it immediately. You don't have to wait for some imaginary perfect time. Progress is progress regardless of the starting point.
So, I guess I won't call them resolutions, but goals I hope I can achieve in this new year.

1. Staying alive
Needless to say I need to be breathing in order to achieve the next goals, so I think this is a good one to start with.

2. Finding a flat
My boyfriend and I have been saving for our own home for almost 3 years now. We had picked a place, which was in construction for 2 years, but we backed out as we realized that we would hate living it there. So, for the last couple of months we've been searching for a new place. But either they're out of our budget, or there is always some kind of problem with them. So, in 2018 I hope we'll discover what we've been looking for.

3. Saving as much as I can
In relation with point 1.

4. Finishing at least one of my books
I've been writing on and off for the last 7 years. The problem? I've never finished anything. And the other problem is that when my old laptop died I lost 90 percent of my content. However, I've had new ideas since then, but always seem to find excuses not to write.

5. Continuing working out and bettering my eating habits
I want a six pack. Not like super defined, but visible. So, I want to continue with my workouts, even though during the holidays I've been completely neglecting them.
And I want to clean up my eating. I've been living on junk food for too long.

6. Reading 50 books
Reading has been a passion of mine even before I could read. Alas, in the last 5 years I haven't been reading as much. Call it life, call it laziness, the fact is you need to read in order to write.

Well, these are my 6 main goals for the upcoming year. What are yours?

Book Review: 24 Girls in 7 Days by Alex Bradley

Hey guys, I think by now, with total two of my book reviews, it's been established that I start my book reviews with a standout quote from the book. Not it this case. Why? Because it f****** sucked. Now you may ask yourselves why did I bother to read it? I read the book in two days, which isn't because it was sooo amazing and I couldn't put it down. It was because it was an extremely easy and quick read. And as I mentioned I've set a reading goal - 50 books in a year. And the best summarization of this book is this: It starts promising and fails miserably. Spoilers The first few chapters were funny and entertaining. The style was also good, and the direction which it was going seemed quite full with potential, but it missed the mark a big time. So, the plot is this as posted on GoodReads:  There are few things sadder than Jack Grammar's love life. So when his friends take it upon themselves to get him a date to the prom by placing an intensel...
