Hey guys, this time last year I embarked on the challenge of finishing an eye-shadow pallet in one year. I choose the BBB palete by Makeup Revolution. Honestly, I had no hope of actually finishing all 30 shades. And I was right. Did I succeed in the challenge? The objective answer is no. However, if you ask me I did better than expected. Usually I don't wear makeup. I mean, I do, but if it all depends on how I'm feeling. I learned couple of things doing this challenge. One is that I gravitate towards darker palletes when browsing, but I prefer the lighter shades being on my eyes. Also it turns out I've picked up on some things watching YouTube tutorials (I still suck, don't get me wrong). The most consecutive times I've worn makeup was 15 days. I mastered a 10 minute quick look, which I think looks good in real life, however on camera it still looked like I was with bare face. Hey guys, I think it's time for an update on the Pan That Palette Challenge. It's not going great actually, because most days I don't feel like putting on makeup before work. At first I was motivated and wanted to make progress as fast as possible but when I wake up in the mornings it's not on my priority list. I've hit a pan only on one color as you can see from the photo. And I've made my peace with the fact I'm not going to really use about 5 colors, which are Skylight, Transformer, Midnight Rainbow, Smoothie and Blacqua. I've tried to incorporate them in some looks but they're just too dark. And I suck at makeup so it's extra hard for me to not look like clown and a mess while wearing these colors. However, I did use all of the colors at some point even if just to take it off again in a few minutes, which in a way is a milestone for me, because I would never even think to put on black eye shadow. Hey guys, this is a bit of a different post from all of the book reviews, as you can see by the title. I came across a video on YouTube of a small channel which was talking about a makeup challenge. Before I knew it I watched maybe 10 videos on a row by different small youtubers. So, basically the challenge is to use a product, in this case a palette, completely: literally to hit the pan. It seems like a fun thing to try out, even though most of the girls were complaining how boring the got as they progressed through their palettes, because they had to do the same look every day. However, as I suck at makeup and I don't really feel comfortable wearing  bold eye shadow, I don't think I will have that problem. The reasons for me to take part in it are mainly two. Firstly, I have thrown away a lot of mostly unused makeup, because I think I will use it and I just don't. After which sometimes I feel guilty for throwing away money.
